2025 송파 청년아티스트 특별전

송파구 풍납동에 위치한 송파 청년아티스트센터는 시각예술 장르의 예술가들의 창작활동을 지원하고, 지역의 문화•예술 활성화를 위해 다양한 전시와 프로그램을 운영하는 공간이다. 이번 전시는 송파 청년아티스트센터 2기 입주 작가들의 올 한해 활동을 마무리하는 하며 1년간 쌓아온 시간을 정리하며 선보이는 자리이다. 전시는 크게 두 개의 장으로 나뉘어 구성하였다. 제1전시실은 입주 작가들의 2025년 작업 중 대표작을 선보이고, 제2전시실은 '예술가의 방'을 주제로 예술가의 작업실을 재현하여 관람객들에게 작품의 이해도를 높이고자 하였다. 참여 작가들은 회화, 조각, 설치, 영상, 퍼포먼스를 아우르는 여러 매체를 통해 다양한 주제를 경유하며 자신만의 고유한 시각 언어를 구축한다. 이들은 자신의 내면에 귀 기울이는 동시에, 그 사유의 결과를 외부와 함께 공유한다. 이러한 활동은 그들의 작업을 우리의 일상과 조우하게 만들고, 더 나아가 현재 사회와 예술 분야 전반에서 활발히 논의되고 있는 인공지능 기술의 발전과 같은 시대적 과제를 함께 마주하고 있다. 청년 예술가들의 구축해온 작업의 궤적을 총망라하여 그들의 작업 세계관을 관람객에게 선보임으로써, 예술가의 성장을 지역 사회와 함께 나누는 계기가 되기를 바라며, 송파 청년아티스트센터는 앞으로도 예술가와 주민이 서로의 세계를 만나는 장을 꾸준히 확장해 나갈 것이다. The Songpa Youth Artist Center, located in Pungnap-dong, Songpa-gu, is as pace that supports the creative activities of artists in the visual arts and operates various exhibitions and programs to promote cultural and artistic engagement within the local community. This exhibition marks the conclusion of the year-long activities of the second cohort of resident artists at the Songpa Youth Artist Center, presenting the time they have accumulated over the past year. The exhibition is organized into two sections. Exhibition Room 1 showcases representative works produced by the resident artists in 2025, while Exhibition Room 2 recreates the artists' studios under the theme "The Artist's Room," offering visitors a deeper understanding of each artist's practice. The participating artists employ a wide range of media-including painting, sculpture, installation, video, and performance-to explore diverse themes and build their own distinct visual languages. They listen closely to their inner worlds while sharing the outcomes of that introspection with the public. Through these activities, their works intersect with our everyday lives, and further, engage with contemporary issues such as the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies, which are widely discussed across society and within the field of art. By presenting the trajectories of the young artists' practices and offering a comprehensive look at their artistic worlds, we hope this exhibition creates an opportunity to share their growth with the local community. The Songpa Youth Artist Center will continue to expand its role as a place where artists and residents encounter one another's worlds.
